Prof. Dr. Hare Gursoy, graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 2001. In the same year, she began her PhD at the Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry Department of Periodontology. In 2006, she began working as a lecturer in the Department of Periodontology at Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry. In 2007, she received the title of Assistant Professor, in 2015 she became an Associate Professor, and in March 2021, she received the title of Professor. In 2021, she was selected by Eczacıbaşı to complete the Biogaia ACADEMY Experts program in Sweden and received her diploma as a "probiotic expert." Professor Hare GURSOY, who has numerous national and international publications, served as the coordinator of the Periodontology Program accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology between 2016 and 2023 (April), as the associate editor of the Yeditepe Dental Journal, as a member of the Scientific Board of Yeditepe University Faculty of Dentistry, and as a member of the scientific committee at the CED-IADR congress in 2017 and 2019. As of September 2023, she is continuing her academic career at the Saglik Bilimleri University, Hamidiye Dentistry Faculty, Department of Periodontology. She is a member of the Turkish Periodontology Society, a member of the European Federation of Periodontology, a board member of the Turkish Dental Laser Academy Association, and a delegate to the Turkish Dental Association (TDB). She is currently the scientific chair of the Turkish Dental Association.
